Kasey Kahne to bring Nascar back to Rockingham with Richard Childrade Racing

Kasey Kahne, who ran for the last time in Nascar in 2018, will come back to compete for Richard Childrade Racing during the Xfinity series race on April 19 at Rockingham Speedway, the team announced on Friday.

Kahne, 44, will take a third entry for RCR. He will be in the car n ° 33. Hendrickcars.com will sponsor the car.

Kahne ran in the 2004-18 Cup. He won 18 victories in 529 departures. He won eight victories in 215 XFINITY departures and five victories in six truck starts, including his Rockingham victory. It was selected as one of the 75 largest engines in the history of Nascar in 2023.

In preparation for his return to Stock Car Racing, Kahne will participate in the Nascar test in Rockingham Speedway on January 28.
